What’s your take on “open streets”?

On my street— residential Pomona Road in Bluff view—we are seeing more walkers, runners, cyclers and scooter riders than ever in this time of the great pandemic. If you’re a cyclist, you’ve probably noticed that even the “big streets” around Dallas are a lot easier to manage with reduced traffic.

What is your take on this? Could we, as several of our Mobility task force have mentioned, start dedicating some of our streets to a usage other than cars, at least part of the time?
